1. Deposit Policy

A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure your appointment. This deposit confirms your booking and reserves your time slot.

• The $50 deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation or no-show.
• Clients may reschedule once using their existing deposit. After one reschedule, the deposit is forfeited and a new $50 deposit will be required to book again.
• Deposits should be sent only after your appointment has been approved. Do not send any payment until you receive the official approval email.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods for the $50 deposit:

• Zelle: 856-473-1480 — Rita Tanguh
• Cash App: $Rita Tanguh

The remaining balance for your appointment is cash only and must be paid on the day of your appointment.

3. Guest Policy

To maintain a professional, calm and focused environment for every client, the following guest policy is strictly enforced:

• Clients must attend their appointment alone. No additional guests or companions are permitted.
• For children's appointments, one parent or guardian may remain with the child during the appointment.
• For adult appointments, clients must attend by themselves, and no accompanying person will be allowed to stay.

4. Late Arrivals

Punctuality is essential to ensure every client receives the time and attention they deserve.

• There is a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals.
• If you are running late, please notify us in advance by calling +1 856-473-1480.
• Arrivals beyond the 10-minute grace period may result in cancellation of your appointment and forfeiture of your deposit.

5. Age Requirement

Rita African Hair Braiding welcomes clients of all ages with the following requirement:

• Clients must be 7 years of age and older.
• For children's appointments, a parent or guardian must remain present throughout the service.

6. Hair Preparation (Mandatory)

To ensure the best results and to honor the time allocated for your appointment, hair must be properly prepared before arrival. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made for unprepared hair.

• Hair must be freshly washed, clean and free of any product buildup.
• Hair must be completely detangled from root to tip.
• Hair must be blow-dried and stretched out before arrival.

Clients arriving with hair that has not been properly prepared may have their appointment cancelled and their deposit forfeited.

7. Hair Included Policy

Braiding hair is included in the price of all services, with the following exception:

• Crochet styles — hair is NOT included. Clients must bring their own crochet hair to the appointment.

Prices may vary by length, thickness and complexity of the desired style. Please contact us before booking if you have any questions about pricing for your specific style.

8. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

• Cancellations result in forfeiture of the $50 deposit.
• No-shows will be marked accordingly and any future bookings may require a higher deposit.
• Repeated cancellations may result in being unable to book future appointments.

9. Service Quality & Satisfaction

Rita brings over 10 years of professional experience to every appointment and is committed to delivering high-quality, neat and lovely hairstyles. If you have any concerns about your hair during the service, please communicate them respectfully so they can be addressed on the spot.

10. Right to Refuse Service

Rita African Hair Braiding reserves the right to refuse service to any client who is disrespectful, unprepared, or in violation of these terms. We are committed to maintaining a peaceful, professional environment for every client.

By booking an appointment with Rita African Hair Braiding, the client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms and conditions stated above. These terms are in place to ensure a smooth, professional and enjoyable experience for every client.
